there are many other games that have this issue. mainly because older pads used different axes as the right stick, and for some mystical reason game developers didn't give an option to redefine it at all.

i've successfully made almost all games playable with the xbox360 pad, thanks the xbcd drivers. without custom programmability the task would be very impossible.

at the moment, only the new king kong game acts weird. there's no conf for the right stick (surprise), and even if my pad is an exact clone of the logitech dual action (probably the most common pad of this type), the right stick is inverted. if i want to look up or down, i would have to turn the stick left or right. so mouse for the time being..

i really should think that this right stick issue should be a sticky or something, so all your findings and games with issues could be easily listed and discussed about.

here's once again my latest dual action clone. works with the latest xbcd (0.2.1)

epsxe has a totally configurable input section, so this does not apply there.. at least with that dual clone profile it works fine here.

i checked this out with the default pad configuration with the right stick as rx & ry -axes and it indeed does not work. epsxe input doesn't recognize rx (why the heck it does recognize ry is beyond my wits).

just try that dual action clone profile and all should be well. if the different button mappings and the triggers as buttons don't feel right, make your own profile.

I got it working. Just Change the "controller type" from Joypad to Gamepad in the XBCD config app. Now you could enable the right stick from the second page of the app. smile.gif

would help if it wasn't already set as gamepad here.... and the joysticks weren't already working in the XBCD setup program

Project64 sees all the rotations, but EPSXE doesn't

ok, it seems that EPSXE doesn't read any configuration of the RX axis, whether its set to Z scale or Z axis, it just doesn't work at all
